Stories of Yoga
The Teachings, Told and Practiced
with Monisa

Stories of Yoga brings the wisdom of the yoga tradition to life through story, reflection and practice. Each gathering explores one theme drawn from yoga philosophy, mythology, the Upaniṣads, the Bhagavad Gītā or the wider tradition, and lets the story become a mirror: a chance to notice where its message may already be present in your own life.
For the first evening, the theme is Remembering the Strength Within. Sometimes the strength we are searching for is not something we need to create; it is something we need to remember.
Each evening begins with a story from the yoga tradition and time for guided reflection, with optional journaling. The practice that follows changes with the story: one evening may be gentle yin or restorative yoga, another prāṇāyāma and breath awareness, sound through crystal bowls, chimes or rain stick, or meditation and yoga nidrā. The evening closes with quiet integration. The story itself stays a surprise until we gather.
No prior knowledge of yoga philosophy is needed, and there is nothing to prepare. Mats, bolsters, blankets and blocks are provided; bring a journal if you enjoy writing.
Ticketed separately; not included in memberships, class packs or drop-ins.
